The Embassy of Portugal has the honor to invite the members of the Portuguese Community in Greece, the Greek Friends of the Portugues language and the whole audience to the exhibition "Walking around the sun" by art professor and curator Eduarda Neves. The exhibition will take place from 6 to 29 July at the Museum of Ancient Greek Technology Kostas Kotsanas and will be supported by the Embassy of Portugal and the Camões Institute.
Eduarda Neves is contemporary art theory professor, an area in which she has several articles and books published. She is also an independent curator whose research and curatorial activity cross the territories of art, philosophy and politics.
She collaborates with the magazine "CONTEMPORÂNEA" since February 2019 and her latest book published was O AUTO-RETRATO. FOTOGRAFIA E SUBJECTIVAÇÃO [SELF-PORTRAIT. PHOTOGRAPHY AND SUBJECTIVATION].
Graduated in Philosophy and PhD in Aesthetics, she collaborates as Assistant Professor at Escola Superior Artística do Porto (ESAP). She is Principal Investigator of ART AND CRITICAL STUDIES Research Group at the Arnaldo Araújo Studies Center (CEAA) since 2013.
Some of her most importante projects are A FEW REASONS FOR A NON-DISMISSIVE ART [2014-15], CORRESPONDENCES [2016-17] and HORS-SÉRIE , presented in Portugal, Germany, Austria, Spain, France, Malta and Ukraine.
