The 84th Thessaloniki International Fair, being India the Honored Country, was inaugurated on Saturday, September 7, 2019, by the Prime Minister of Greece. The Ambassador of Portugal Rui Manuppella Tereno and the Economic & Commercial Counsellor Laurent Armaos were present.
The Embassy of Portugal has the pleasure to invite all members of the Portuguese Community in Greece and the general public to “Cinema and the City”, an initiative of the Greek Film Archive, which takes place from September 12 to 18, 2019, at the Open Air Cinema Lais (Iera Odos 48 & Megalou Alexandrou 134 -136).
The “Cinema and the City” program includes 13 films, recorded in 11 cities, and aims to offer every cinema enthusiast an opportunity to relive a cinematic experience in the cities that have marked the 20th century history.
Portugal will be represented by “Lisbon Story” by Wim Wenders. The movie has a duration of 103 minutes and will be screened this Thursday, September 12th at 10:30 pm, starting this week's movie program. Tickets can be purchased at the entrance and cost 5 euro.
